State “B” Wrestling Duals Held in Wagner
Wagner hosted the fourth annual State “B” Wrestling Dual tournament on Saturday, January 26, 2008, with thirteen teams from throughout the state participating. The event was well organized and proved to be very exciting. There were numerous talented athletes involved - all displaying great sportsmanship and having fun.
To host this event is a great honor and opportunity for Wagner; it allows us to invite athletes, coaches and fans to our community and enjoy all we have to offer. We hope they enjoyed their stay and are excited about coming back soon.

I wish to extend a big thank you to the community of Wagner for hosting a wonderful tournament this past Saturday. The entire event was well executed, the workers excellent, the food was great, and every person we met were extremely friendly, pleasant, and helpful.
You have an amazing group of athletes and I look forward to seeing them at State.

I was very happy to see Wagner offer and organize the State Team Wrestling Tournament when the SDHSAA decided to drop the event several years ago. I am releaved to see other site besides the AA schools host. The prices they charge put an undo burden on families and they do not have the feel for the smaller school wrestling programs like you people do.
You do a wonderful job–keep up the good work.
